Miranda do Corvo is the village where Trilhos dos Abutres will be held, race that in 2019 will receive the Trail Running World Championship.

This village is located in the center of Portugal, belonging to the district of  Coimbra, where the opening ceremony will take place.

The center of Portugal is home to some of the best beaches in the country, such as the renowned canhão da Nazaré where the world’s largest waves are found, the Serra da Estrela, Portugal’s Continental highest point, and of course the Serra da Lousã where Trilhos dos Abutres take place.

In this region you can still discover the Aldeias do Xisto, the gateway to a varied offer of tourism and leisure in contact with nature and with the culture of the territory. This unique landscape in Portugal serves as a setting for some of the best infrastructure in the country for active tourism, from mountain biking to trailrunning, canoeing and climbing.
