The Portuguese National Team’s “Armor” by Prozis

Prozis X-Motion range was chosen by the FPA / ATRP to dress the Portuguese team at the Trail World Championships.

One of the main goals was making sure the athletes wore comfortable, reliable clothing so as to promote maximum performance. Several options were considered, and the choice fell to the specific Trail Running clothing line by Prozis: the new X-Motion range launched last February (National team equipment photo/Jersey with green and red details with the word Portugal).

The key words were comfort, lightness and reliability. The ideal balance between comfort and performance was reached through a thorough choice of materials and a high attention to detail during the production stage. All the know-how recruited by the brand for this project was also important. This collaboration resulted in a development process focused on performance, and this is noticeable when the design and specific role of each garment are analyzed in detail.

 

Reliability came first, as did the knowledge of all those who were involved in the process: a huge multidisciplinary team, with experience in developing sports equipment that encompasses both technicity and technology. All the positive feedback received during the first few weeks after the range was launched was also paramount for this choice.

Another essential aspect, other than product assessment of both materials and products made by accredited labs, was the collaboration of many international Trail Running athletes in the development of this range. Suggestions made in the design stages, the testing and feedback of both prototypes and the final product, which was tested to the limit, resulted in a high-technicity range, made from athletes for athletes, and meant to be part of their drive to overcome.
Besides the competition equipment, made in Portugal, Prozis developed and produced training and walking equipment as well, meant to be comfortable, based on a modern image and aligned with the aspirations of the Portuguese national team.
